CFE

Pressing a key early in the boot loads us in to CFE. By default the IP address is 192.168.2.1.
Change it if required via
ifconfig eth0 -addr=192.168.2.232

save from flash to tftp
make sure writing is allowed (create /var/lib/tftp/file, chmod a+w)
save 192.168.2.10:belkin.test3 0x80000000 0x00800000
boot an image?
boot -elf 192.168.2.1:belkin.boot

Firmware

Pre-release belkin firmware is here - can't find the original fw.

Creating 4 MTD partitions on "Physically mapped flash":
0x00000000-0x00030000 : "boot" (cfe? - probably not, seems to be a 0x1000 offset)
0x00030000-0x007f0000 : "linux"
0x001fd5b8-0x007f0000 : "rootfs"
0x007f0000-0x00800000 : "nvram"

Questions:
BCM4718A1KFBG ??  CPU + 2.4GHz
BCM43224KMLG 5GHz

Could use e3000 image?
boot -tftp -elf 192.168.1.2:/incoming/vmlinux.elf
http://www.znau.edu.ua/temp/asus-rt-n16/openwrt-bcm4716-README.txt
Or is this closer?
http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/belkin/f7d4401

Belkin's firmware (pre-release) first bytes match with mtd1

note mtd0 matches with a save from cfe offset 0x1000
